This book is going in a controlled release to book girrl, fellow book crosser and the one who introduced me to this stuff.
I found this book kinda interesting and kinda confusing. Maybe I read it too late in the evening.

Thanks Caitlin-Diane for getting me out of a reading rut. Science Fiction/Fantasy is not my thing (the last sci-fi I read was Day of the Triffids!!) but I am up to the challenge. Smashing cover, by the way.

Thanks for this, bookgirrl and caitlin-diane.
It looks really interesting. The back cover says that, in this story, a woman's dreams start leaking into her daytime life.

This is a really interesting book. The heroine's dreams have the flavour of fairy tales, while the characters of her waking life are loveable and attract our sympathy.

This book was by turns engaging, imaginative, informative, charming, and thoughtful. In a way it was confusing, because things happened in real life that were inexplicable, but seemed to be connected to the narrator's growing power in her dreams. The ending was a surprise. I'll be looking for more books by this author, thanks to caitlin-diane and Bookgirrl.

This book is still in the corporate apartment. I've re-read it, and it still blows me away with its inspired nonsense imagery, which reminds me of Lewis Carroll. Who else would throw off ideas such as the song of the wooden mice, the land of Yasmuda, Cloud Hell, the alligator chess bullies, or the old lamp market?

I'm going to offer this to a colleague at IBI Group or to a fellow BookCrosser in Newport Beach.
