This sixth part is good, very good. I don't remember the fourth and the fifth part very well, but I know I didn't enjoy them as much, especially the fifth part was too long and too dark for me.

Now in the sixth part the world of Harry Potter has become really dark, because it is common knowledge that Lord Voldemort is back and there is sad proof almost everyday with yet another victim. But still the book is not sad or dark, I thought it was very much alive with glints of hope and happiness everywhere. Of course the ending is really sad, but how could it not be, when Harry Potter is ready for the big showdown and he knows how big and dangerous a task this is.

I liked this more adult version of Harry Potter and I can't wait for the last book...

Oops, I can't believe I've kept Kat's book since July - sorry! Finally decided that I would read it as my Christmas treat :-) I was completely hooked for about 2 days. The style and plot gets darker in this sixth book, and we sense that Harry is really growing up and gaining maturity. His relationship with Dumbledore deepens and they become "more" like equals. The ending blew me away and I can't wait to see how the series will end. J K, get writing :-)
