DMA7 gave me this book and several others quite a while ago. Some were registered and some weren't :) I gave her about 7 months to register it, but she never did, so now I am! :)
Just finished reading it so I can send it on to a LiveJournal friend, who has it on her wishlist.
I liked this one -- less lawyer-y and more Bourne Identity-ish, it was still very Grisham. I really liked the new setting (he's branched *far* away from the South -- all the way to Bologna, Italy, and then some). This one definitely had an international flavor, and I appreciated it. It was fun to armchair visit some places I've been and others I haven't yet. I felt like I was really there -- as well as Grisham describes those muggy summer courthouses that are "Old South" and have no air conditioning; he brought the same type of research to this book.
A good, quick read. Definitely suspenseful, but not as disturbing as some of his books.

Wow! What a nice surprise! I am between trips right now. I was heading out to the library to return the audiobooks from my last trip and maybe pick up something to read on the plane tomorrow. I decided to grab the mail first and what should I find but a nice little care package from my favorite ant. Now I have something to read tomorrow!
I finished reading this yesterday on a plane somewhere over Nebraska. I don't feel comfortable wild releasing such a nice, new book, so I'm passing it on to a friend, who I hope will enjoy it as much as I did.
Recieved in the mail as a surprise RABCK from Cleothecat (aka Alex-the-cat). Thank you! What a nice surprise! I'll give it a go, then find it a nice new home.
