The Journey
5 journalers for this copy...
In 1992 Brandon was diagnosed with a football-sized tumour and found herself catapulted into a remarkable, soul-searching and utimately freeing healing journey. Only six and a half weeks later, she was pronounced textbook perfect - no drugs, no surgery, no tumour.

This arrived Express Post today. I have a couple of rings before it but I will try not to hold things up too much :) Thanks Bookworm.
In my opinion this was a very different kind of self-help book. What I found most interesting was that the author had dedicated her life to alternative healing modalities and then became very ill anyway ;)It was through this illness that she was able to discover "The Journey" - a very simple emotional healing technique which translates into physical healing at a cellular level. I admit to being sceptical and if the opportunity arises I will attend one of her workshops to see for myself. I would use the tools in the back of the book to have a go but I dont have anyone that I could really do it with that I would feel comfortable with...I think a complete stranger would make it easier for me to release the emotions necessary. Thanks for the read Bookworm! Have PMed Alice who is next up :)

I giggled when the I got the book out of the post bag this afternoon, the photo on the front just struck me as being funny, not sure why. Anyway, the book arrived safe and sound, thanks for sending it.

I read the first half of the book, it was semi-interesting. I couldn't read the second half of the book after she was better. I just don't go in for all of that self healing stuff, I'd much rather trust a doctor than my inner power or whatever it was. I'm too much of a scientist.

Bookcrossing member tyenna has requested that I send the book to her. I'm glad that it has found a home for now, I hate being on the end of a ray and not doing anything exciting with the book. I hope that it is enjoyed!
thought I'd update the journal for this book and say in the time it has been with me that it has been read by 5 non BX members(here's hoping they join!)
