I think a more proper category for this book is "Historical Fiction".

I found this at the library bookstore today for $2. This is a giant book - 957 pages. I have not had much luck with Margaret George in the past - I couldn't get through her Autobiography of Henry VIII, another enormous book. (I also have the giant "Mary, Queen of Scots" on my TBR shelf - perhaps this author needs an editor??) But I know a lot about Henry, so the fictionalization really bugged me. I don't know much about Cleopatra - so maybe I will enjoy this book more? We'll see...

I did not remember how big her books were. I do like her even if she does slide away from history some times. I look at her as entertainment. If I wonder about a certain fact I do some research.
I have another 'big' one by Diana Gabaldon that has 1410 pages in a mass market book. I need to start on one of these giants soon.

I finaly finished this. Not that I did not like it but I get tired holding it up late at night so I switch to a smaller book. M George always writes a good book. Thanks and I will move it on soon.
