I enjoyed this series (Loves Comes Softly) very much when I was expecting my first child in my 20s. These are pleasant stories with a durable theme of the development of spiritual strength in the midst of common, genuine obstacles and fears. I found Janetter Oke's work surprisingly imaginative. It's been a long time since I read this series, but I assembled it for my young niece, a new mother, to enjoy. This was an extra, which I hope will be pleasant reading for the next "book-crosser."

I'm looking forward to reading this installment of the _Love Comes Softly_ series! I LOVED the movies and this book starts where the second movie ended. I'll post again when I've finished it!
