WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
Finished this while I was waiting for the bus and left it on one of the seats. Hopefully someone will pick this up and enjoy it, maybe use it as travel reading.
As for my review, I should start this by saying that I haven't read much poetry lately, so my poetic appreciation is a bit rusty, and so my poetic opinions should generally be disregarded. Anyway, I was left somewhat lukewarm by Pinsky's poetry. It presents some interesting ways of looking at the physical world, driving home some more metaphysical realizations, some I found original, some much more obvious but perhaps needing to be driven home occasionally nonetheless. Also, he uses a few interesting formal tricks, like his alphabetic poetry. Nonetheless, I didn't find it particularly original or moving. Reasonably worthwhile, especially if you have a long trip ahead of you.

Not much of a poetry buff but the first poem Samurai Song, is an ascetic's dream!

CAUGHT IN MONTREAL QUEBEC CANADA
I found this in the hallway of my University Student Centre - the Shatner Building. It's a great book of poetry. It brought some sunshine to my day and I'm very happy for it.
