I read Surfacing a while ago & it sort of put me off Margaret Atwood. However, I'm glad I was pushed in the direction of finally reading this by a request for it as it was really very good.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't a futuristic tale. Had I realised, I probably wouldn't have picked it up!

Just goes to show that I shouldn't stick to my preconceived ideas about literature as they're so often shattered and I'm left pleasantly suprised!!

Bueno, pues la verdad es que salí ganando de la liberación masiva de ayer en el parque de María Luisa. Es la segunda ventaja de estar dentro de la organización (la primera es acudir a la barbacoa de después :-p ).

Pedí este libro por adelantado a laprofe en cuanto me enteré de que lo iba a liberar ayer. En Inglaterra es todo un clásico, y me vine de allí con la espinita clavada de no haberlo leído o comprado. ¡Nada que no se pueda solucionar! Dejaré que siga su camino después de leerlo.
