Paranormal and New Age Book Box #1
Rules:
1. Only US participants, please, to keep shipping costs down.
2. All Paranormal or New Age Nonfiction and Paranormal fiction except Stephen King-type horror permitted. (Paranormal fiction should be mostly fantasy or romance type).
3. All books should be labeled with a BCID.
4. Remove the books you want and replace with 1 less than the number you remove. For example: remove 5 books, add 4 books. Remove 1 book, don't add any books. By the time the box returns to me it will hopefully be about half as much as it started with.
5. PM the next person to get their mailing information.
6. If there is no reply after several attempts, please skip to the next name on the list.
7. Send via media mail to keep costs down. Delivery confirmation is at your discretion. If you choose to use it, please add the tracking number to the journal entry. It's usually an unnecessary expense, however.
8. Please make a journal here when you receive or send the box - so we can all "follow" its journey and journal a list of what you take and what you put back in.
9. Please make a journal entry for all books you take on their individual listings.
10. Please ship box to the next person within no more than 2 weeks of receiving it - since you're only swapping books, this shouldn't be a problem.
11. If the box is getting tattered and doesn't look like it's going to make it to the next destination, please replace it.

Okay, the above is my final answer. The box is packed up, taped up, and ready to go. One small problem....we had a financial crisis (my computer died and has to be replaced. I'm doing this on my sister-in-law's computer right now while she isn't home) so I don't have the money this week to mail it out. I definitely should have the money next week baring any more emergencies. My parents' are having a garage sale this weekend so perhaps I can find enough stuff to sell to be able to mail this Monday. (fingers crossed) Again, I apologize for the delay.

The box came home - I forgot to journal this entry. I gave all the books away via Freecycle.org, my yard sale and the rest I left outside to be picked up off the curb (I checked back and they were all taken - every one - and before trash pickup!)


Thanks for participating - I doubt I'll do this again anytime soon unless I happen to get a ton of books I need to unload again.
