Dorothy Hardy and Ann Lee have two things in common. Both are social workers with connections to the scandal-hit Calderbank children’s home. And both have been abducted…

But there is another link between the two women – their former colleague Dr. Christine Radcliffe, a sophisticated, self-possessed consulant psychologist. Detective Chief Inspector Alan Jameson, in a race to find the women alive and well, cannot ignore this connection. Especially when Christine is clearly nursing a dark, violent secret from her past.

During the book the scandal in the Calderbank childrens home is mentioned more then one time.
And I was just sitting there thinking "What was is?" because that might have helped in picking up the trail...
But even with this little disturbance I liked the book in the whole.
And the little sparkling between the characters ;-)

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

This book was placed in front of a webcam during the Bookwatching Weekend.

In the middle of the roundabout at Porte de Saint Cloud.

Addition: There was a heavy rain going down that night - so I looked for the book the next day.
It has fallen down and it was unikely to be seen there. So I picked it up and placed it at the busstation you can see at the top of the picture. It is gone by now...
