I loved all of these, nice simple plots and they all seemed really familiar. I've either read them before, seen the films or other books, films, TV shows have been based around similar plots.

Another good book from the Queen of Crime! Having said that, this bok reinforces my belief that in general the Miss Marple books are of a lower quality than Hercule Poirot. Christie uses a moderately good build-up, followed by an ordinary conclusion. The flaw present in all Marples I've read is also here: Miss Marple thinks up a theory that accomodates all the facts without offering any concrete reason why that is the only possible solution or how she arrived at her conclusion. It suddenly seems to jut popout. Overall, it's a good book but nowhere near Christie at her best.
