Bought at a church fete in Adelaide, to be read. Note: Book cover is different to the one shown here.
I've really enjoyed Wyndham in the past but this one lacked the usual lustre. There's some interesting ideas about utopian communities etc but I found it quickly degenerated into the standard horror story and not even a very satisfying one at that. There's probably a reason why it wasn't published during his lifetime!
