Don't be a stranger. Release a book to an unknown new friend today.
Today, 10/4/02, at the Mo. Botannical Garden in St. Louis, MO, I released my second book into the wild: The Stranger by Camus. The planet is a small place. Pick up my book and read it today; then pass it on.
Don't be a stranger--join the human race...for peace. Make music, love or words today!

Journal Entry 2 by PhiloSophia at Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Missouri USA on Friday, October 4, 2002
Released on Friday, October 04, 2002 at Mo. Botannical Gardens - Entry Fountain. in St. Louis, Missouri USA.
I'm leaving this book by the Fountain at the entry to the park. Take good care of it; then return it to "the wild."
Thanks!

I picked up the book from a small table located inside the Botanical Garden (I don't think it was where Philosophia left it). Had I arrived 30 seconds later, the book would have been lost... just after I picked it up, the in-ground watering system turned on, soaking the table where the book had just been.
Unfortunately, that's the most interesting thing I can say about the book... I read it and it wasn't really my cup of tea. I've never cared much for existentialist writing, and this was no exception.
I'm leaving this weekend for a vacation in Belize... somewhere on that trip, I'll release the book into the wild.

I left the book on a bench inside Belize International Airport on Sunday, November 24.
