A gothic tale, fairly well done, but not *extremely* well done. It did rather take me back to my teen years, when I went through a phase of reading tons of Victoria Holt. (this one is more gothic than romance, though). So I enjoyed it, after all.

Actually, this book was caught by a coworker who found it on a park bench. She passed it on to me to read first. Great book; I finished it in a day. A little bit of Victorian romance, some supernatural activity thrown in to keep things interesting. Young adults would enjoy this as well.
