Man merkt an diesen alten Krimis deutlich, dass ohne all diese neu-modischen Spurensicherungsmassnahmen die Aufklärung von Kriminalfällen ganz anders war. Die Beweisführung würde vor heutigen (zumindest US-amerikanischen) Gerichten wahrscheinlich wenig Bestand haben, aber wen stört das schon wenn Hercule Poirot - der komische Belgier - den Fall am Ende lösen kann.

A nice, harmless story, which wouldn't get any readers nowadays with thrillers like from J. Deaver. For a book almost 100 years old, it is an interesting plot, which could have been made for a James Bond movie.
Will be released in Brussels this week.
