This was the perfect beach book -- fun, mindless, entertaining and light. It was fairly predictable, with a touch of all my favorite elements: mystery, romance, friendship, family relationships, suspense. Though interesting and enjoyable, it's not overly compelling, which makes it perfect for relaxing on the beach. You don't mind putting it down to take a dip, but it certainly occupies your brain while you're laying on the sand.

Sounds like a good book.
