Journal Entry 3 by cathyinoz from Warrandyte, Victoria Australia on Tuesday, July 10, 2007
I made a New Years resolution for 2007 -- to read and release all the RABCK's, swaps, and relay books I've acquired through BC -- I'm going pretty well! This is the second of Virginia Woolf's books that I've read. I've enjoyed her work even tho' I often feel like I'm trying to keep up with a sparrow. She flits, she lands, she pecks, cocks a bright eye at you then she's away again. You must pay attention or she will fly right off and you won't know where. I especially like the character of Peter Walsh and his frustrated yet constant love. I'll check to see if anyone locally has this on their wishlist otherwise I will reserve it for release at the Melbourne Bookcrossing convention in October. Thanks once again flicki for sharing this book. Sorry it took so long to get to it.

Journal Entry 5 by meganh from Thornbury, Victoria Australia on Monday, December 15, 2008
Received as my kris kringle and I have no idea who from as this book was last journalled by the Melbourne Convention Committee. I have previously struggled to read this - here is my previous review. "I really tried to read this, got to page 127 before giving up despite encouragement from two bookcrossers to perservere. The descriptions were good and the writing style was interesting - moving from character to character but I really couldn't get into the lives of Clarissa and Richard Dalloway and all the sundry characters - I probably should have perservered to find out where Septimus fitted in but now it's available for another reader to enjoy more than I!" I will pass it on to another reader.
