This book does not have Rebus in it, but it is still well worth picking up. It is a re-released edition that has an interesting introduction by Ian Rankin, written 16 or so years after he first wrote it.

I picked this up at Tuesday's meetup, because my mum really likes Ian Rankin. It turned out she hadn't read this one, so she's enjoying it now.
Edit: Releasing it tonight (9th Oct. '07), so flicked through it, and was pleased to notice that the title was partly inspired by Alan Moore's graphic novel, Watchmen...
