Got this in a box of mysteries. From the back of the book: Where there's smoke there's usually an Insurance Agent hurrying to the scene to assess the damage. When Oliver Branwell is sent to investigate a fire at Lowis Manor he finds that things are not all they seem at first glance - or second. In order to protect the woman he loves, Oliver is forced to side-step the rules. And as the suspense mounts, he discovers he has qute a few enemies - some of them intent on fanning the flames... For a book that was republished in the 1970's.. the woman on the cover has pretty thin eyebrows! LOL This doesn't seem to be to my tastes, so I'll be passing it along. This is going to be part of the Literary Fair in Cambridge. Enjoy! Where is this book? I don't know!!!
