I have this theory that humor books just might work well for BookCrossing, because they're so often fun to read but not really worth holding on to. I read this quickly after finding it at the thrift store (the effort of maybe an hour, or less) and parts of it are funny. I prefer my written humor in longer form but understand that this book's format is a result of transcribing stand-up comedy. And Seinfeld is pretty good at that. :)

This morning I had to run for the train, but I managed to slam this down on the wall by the inbound side as I leaped for the doors.

I'm not a Seinfeld show fan, but after reading this, I have a sense that Jerry Seinfeld is warmer and funnier than I had suspected. A great read for the train - short, punch, humorous. "Sometimes you go to a nice restaurant, they put the check in a little book. What is this, the story of the bill? 'Once upon a time somebody ordered a salad.'..." Thanks, lemming! I walked by the top of the stairs this morning in the Porter T stop and saw this book sitting there. Saw Seinfeld's face on the cover and thought, nah, I wouldn't like it - and then I saw the BookCrossing sticker and went "Cool!" (I read about BookCrossing from a variety of sources - I'm a net geek.) Picked the thing up close to 9 this Monday morning (9/30). Now you've inspired me to start circulating my wild and varied collection. - Oberon
