Two dogs escape from an experimental research station in the Lake District, where they have been horriby tortured and mistreated in the name of science. As they run for their lives on the hard fells they attempt to survive wild and free.

This was good. The language was a little long winded and flowery and the action was quite slow moving, but it is nevertheless a great story and a satisfying read.

Picked up at the Sheffield Meetup for my eldest daughter Tina as I remember reading this as a child - might keep her amused for a day or so (she reads far more than I've ever done!). Warning though, this may result in a very 'frank' yet highly amusing JE later ;-)
