Sorry about the delay! I thought I'd journalled this, then realised I hadn't. Finished the book yesterday, and it is a most bizarre story! It's well told as well, which is a good think as it is not, I think, intrinsically interesting and a bit repetitive. Glad I read it though, thank you. Will probably take it to the next York meet, but may pass it on to a friend or wild release it. Please let me know if you have a preference. ETA: Am taking it to the Unconvention in Birmingham. :)

Journal Entry 3 by Drusillamac from Glasgow, Scotland United Kingdom on Thursday, March 09, 2006
A bit of a story behind this one. The book ended up in my hands after a Glasgow meet up. JCW2004 said she had not been able to journal the book because the BCID on the label came up for a different book. I did a bit of PMing and Phantomcougar kindly PMed me the correct BCID. I believe JCW2004 might have picked the book up at a joint Edinburgh/Glasgow meet during the Book Festival. Sadly, I have tried to read this book and didn't enjoy it. However, I think this book is meant to travel so I may put it on a bookray.

Initial thought- How can they afford to travel so much??? I am so envious!!! The book was a fun read. I agree with a previous reader, that it was a little repetitive. I think the story works because it's quirky. Also, both Danny and Dave are funny. I laughed-out-loud at several points in the book. Thank you for sharing. This book will be posted to the next reader tomorrow afternoon.

Brilliant book - will have you laughing out loud. I envy him so much that he could just take off at a whim where-ever in the world! Does get a little repetitive at times but his brilliant sense of humour carries it along! Onto the next bookcrosser!

I really enjoyed this, it was daft and entertaining but also well written with Dave and Dan bouncing off each other continously. Poor Hanne!

I thought an update on this ray was in order. Several new people have joined since this ring was created and, due to that, there has been some confusion over the mailing order. I am waiting to hear back from c-a-m to see if they can pass the book onto the next readers and get this ray moving again. Thanks to all participants for their patience :-)
