My plan for this journal is to have it travel with book ings/boxes I have started and it returned to me when the final participant is through with the ring. If there is room remaining, I will continue to send it with other rings until full. When this journal is full I'll send IT out as a ring. So, please let me know by signing up on the sign up page if you'd like to be added.

Just wanted you to know that the box made it here safely. I ordered a book on tape to add to it. Thanks for sharing it with us. (My mom, my son and I). I will PM the next person so I can get their address and be prepared

Journal Entry 11 by vannessave from Los Angeles, California USA on Monday, August 28, 2006
Well, held on this far longer than I expected. I apologize for that. I ordered a tape online to include but it never arrived and I have to wait 3 more days until the are willing to do a trace. Aaaarrrrggghh, Since I mostly mail boxes over the weekend and have to work this weekend it should go out to the next person by next weekend. I already have the address..

The positive side is while going back and forth with customer service I was able to listen to many of the tapes so I'll post some entries for those tomorrow when I'll have more computer time

Thanks again for including us

ARRIVED HOME SAFE AND SOUND! THANKS TO ALL THE PARTICIPANTS.

This came back at a great time as I am going to add this journal to my "Baby, It's Cold Outside" Book box.
New box info is:
Baby It's Cold Outside-bookbox

Taking sign-ups for a US only Book box. Books must be good books, books you enjoyed or think others will enjoy. This is not a box to "get rid" of old, dilapidated books that only collectors would want. This box is for books you'd enjoy being curled up by the fire with a hot cup of cocoa and a warm fuzzy blanket. I will start it out with a nice selection of books and a couple Book Crossing Journals for people to add to. Participants are to let me know what they are adding and removing to the box and I too will post a list here of what is in the box.

Please let me know when you get the box :
1.What you are putting in the box
2.What books you are taking out of the box
3.When the box was mailed to the next participant
4. Due to the size of the box no Hardbacks will be allowed only paperbacks.

This journal looks familiar!:) This is the second time I have received this journal.
I got the bookbox before Christmas, but I have not had time to do anything with it until now. I will make my selections, and journal entries, and get it moving again.

Journal Entry 19 by gomboggit from Baker City, Oregon USA on Thursday, January 4, 2007

Gomboggit did get this to me...sorry I have had it for so long...and especially without journalling! (I'm usually not this irresponsible, I promise!! :) Anyway, I have written in the journals, traded my books and am ready to send this off to PaulsBooks. Will PM for address and have this in the mail on Monday, Jan. 29th.

Journal Entry 21 by jenptcfan from Mechanicsville, Virginia USA on Friday, February 23, 2007
Received today in Bunnylady's Baby It's Cold Outside Box. All I can say is WOW! There are tons of books in this box (it's actually quite heavy) and Paulsbooks was kind enough to slip in two books with sticky notes saying they're especially for me (from my wish list). This really brightened my day. I'm going to sort through this and see what I'm adding and taking out.

Journal Entry 22 by jenptcfan from Mechanicsville, Virginia USA on Friday, February 23, 2007
OK, I'm taking out:

The End by Lemony Snicket
Guilty as Sin by Tami Hoag
The Mammoth Hunters by Jean Auel
Fatality by Caroline Cunney
SOS Titanic by Eve Bunting
Night of Many Dreams by Gail Tsukiyama

I'm adding:
The Bridges of Madison County by Robert Waller
Big Fish by Daniel Wallace
I'd Rather be Laughing by Marilyn Meberg
The Accidental Tourist by Anne Tyler
The Cat Who Could Read Backwards by Lilian Jackson Braun
Turtle Moon by Alice Hoffman

The box is very battered, so I'm moving the books to a new box. I will try to get this out tomorrow (if I get up and around before the post office closes) otherwise, I'll get it out Monday.
