I don't really remember what even happened in this book, only that I was not overawed by it or its somewhat bizarre main character. Holding onto it to see if my mom wants to read it, if she doesn't, then it's free to a good home.

I finally got around to reading this! It was an interesting read, though I'm not sure what the point of the story was. It was quite gripping once I really got into it, but after having finished it I'm still not sure what it was actually about, apart from some sort of character study. Still, I enjoyed it, so I'm glad I got the chance to read it.

*Finally* got to this one. Like others - wasn't sure what the point was besides a character study. On the other hand - it was refreshing to read a Russian novel that wasn't incredibly depressing. Thanx for sharing!!
