Fun, light summer read. I enjoyed the stories about the restaurant business; I was less interested in her story. I've never been a server; I have more insight and respect regarding the stress a server goes through every day! It's a tough job.

Journal Entry 7 by AnonymousFinder on Friday, June 17, 2005
I enjoyed Ms. Ginsberg's perspective on the life of waiting. I shared many similar experiences and thoughts throughout my decade of waiting tables. I was astonished that she did not spend some time on the inevitable "waiter dreams" that so many of my colleagues and i have experienced. I will be sending this book on now that i have enjoyed it.
