Thank you for sharing this book. I enjoyed these send-ups of the publishing and bookselling world, particularly the cartoons where a reader congratulates an author at a signing ("I really, really enjoyed your hype"), a young child criticises another for being pretentious ("He leaves the new Sendak lying around, but he's never actually read it") and a police officer arrests a man for reading Dostoyevsky at the beach ("I'm sorry, sir, but Dostoyevsky is not considered summer reading. I'll have to ask you to come with me").
