I will leave this book in this great restaurant because it is my birthday and we are going there for lunch. I love giving a gift today...it is especially fun!

Well, cr313, thank you for the nice birthday gift! :-)
Since this is my first catch (woohoo!), I am going to give a few details. Before today, I never seemed to get to drop-off points fast enough -- folks in Portland must be really active, which doesn't surprise me. Today (Thursday), I had a reason to be in the neighborhood of the Laughing Planet anyway, so when I saw the Release Notes, I thought "What the heck, I'll have lunch there." I arrived around 2:30, and there the book was, in plain sight.
For once, I was fast enough. :-)
I have not read a single word of it yet; I thought I'd help things along by letting folks know the book was no longer in the wild. This is not the kind of book that I would normally read (at least, not often), so we'll see what I think of it.
And when I'm done, I'll release it!

I am now about halfway through Sarum, and it is quite good. In fact, it has details about the ancient history of England that I never expected it to have (e.g. the making of barrows), so I am using the book in my research for a writing project that I am working on. This is why it is taking me so long to get through it.
This book has been a real find. :-)
