For years, I have heard mention of this book. I've heard friends say that this is one of their favorite vampire novels. Friends, of course, who share my love of horror. I have looked and looked but not found an affordable copy anywhere. So one can imagine my pleasure, when, browsing the shelves of Title Wave Books, I came upon an old copy! I don't think I've snatched a book of the shelf so quickly since I found an old TOR copy of Laymon's Tread Softly at the same UBS!

From the back cover:

Ten murders on the New York City subway--all horrible, no two alike. The tabloids cry "Subway Psycho" and the cops search for a serial killer. But they're both wrong--because what they're looking for isn't even human.

Only a handful of people know the truth about the creature stalking Manhattan's cavernous underground...a creature with an uncontrollable thirst for blood and domination.

Worst of all, they know that his kind has ruled the night for centuries, and that down in the tunnels, the night lasts forever.

I LOVE Skipp and Spector. However, I am not a rabid fan of the vampire genre. This was a really good book, but was very hard to focus on, as it's rare for me to just dive in and devour any vampire book. I am going to give this to my sister-in-law, who kept eyeballing it over Thanksgiving!
