THE SEX LIFE OF MY AUNT.

Bought this book at the Buecher-Brocky in Basel, which KatColorado, Dolphus, Pfiffigunde2 & nice-cup-of-tea visited whilst we are at the Basel Meetup!
Finally got round to reading this (it was a random choice from under the bed!) and really enjoyed it. I hadn't read any Mavis Cheek before, but i like her style. It's about families, relationships, family history and how we remember things from our own perspective.
Dilys the 'heroine' has a lovely husband Francis, a charmed, well off life, but is having an affair with Matthew, who is very like her husband. Throughout most of the book I was very annoyed with Dilys, I couldn't quite see why she's risk everything and be prepared to throw away her married life. But then she grows up as she tries to sort out her life, and she tackles her family history and her sister. And I approved of the ending!
