What a strange person, this Jane! She seems very cool, like a fish. I didn't feel any emotions in her stories, everything seemed far away and hazy. The chapters seem to follow randomly, without order. Jane really remainded foreign to me, almost till the end.

The last chapter where she actually reads the guide "How to Meet and Marry Mr. Right" was the only one I enjoyed. Jane seemed more like proper flesh and bone there.

I really enjoyed this book, it revolved around Jane's search for love, but it wasn't really a 'chick flick' novel. Each chapter seemed to stand alone, plus the content and style of each chapter were quite different, and the book was almost a book of short stories. Having said that, I did enjoy it, although there wasn't a strong narrative thread running through her story. Beautifully written and thought provoking. The bits I especially enjoyed were the stories that concentrated on Jane and her relationship with her family, especially her father. Will give this book back to KatColorado when I see her tomorrow.
