Journal Entry 1 by veganknitter from Bolton, Greater Manchester United Kingdom on Tuesday, May 03, 2005
Another tale of dysfunctional families from Anne Tyler, one of my favourite authors ever. This one has it's charms but was a bit too cloying for me.

Offering as part of the Adjective-Noun Book Relay (although unsure of the rules, but it has a two word title). On a few wishlists, so hope it will be snapped up quickly to spare my blushes.

Sent to fire-dragon as part of the Adjective-Noun Book Relay (which I still don't fully understand). Enjoy it, it's a classic Anne Tyler.

Journal Entry 4 by Fire-Dragon from San Francisco, California USA on Saturday, August 13, 2005
This arrived in the post a few days ago. I am looking forward to reading it as I am a big fan of Anne Tyler's work and this has been on my wish list for a while. I don't think that anybody really cares how closely you follow the rules of the relay and if they do it's their problem. It's all about the books!

Journal Entry 5 by Fire-Dragon from San Francisco, California USA on Sunday, October 09, 2005
Anne Tyler is one of my favourite authors and I think this is one of the best books by her that I have read. The characters are sharply drawn and memorable and the situations always believable and filled with rich detail. She captures the complexity and messiness of life and love and loss brilliantly. I'm currently travelling in the United States so I plan to release this here.

Journal Entry 7 by FinePrintReader from Franklin, Kentucky USA on Monday, October 31, 2005
I was on a trip to the northeastern part of US and was delighted to find something "free" in a big city like Boston. Since I am an avid reader and knew of the author of this book, I was excited about the opportunity to find this book and learn of BookCrossing.
