I have read and enjoyed several of his books so far. This one is in my never-ending TBR pile (generously donated by my dad)...I found this copy for sale at the local library and bought it especially for BXing it.
Just offered this book on Book Relay: http://www.bookrelay.com/relay.php?id=905
Received it via mail yesterday. Thanks so much for sending it to me boosterj28. Can't wait to start reading it!
Another great read by Nelson DeMille. Took me a while to be really gripped by the book, but it turned out to be a great story after all.
Sorry, last post was mine too, but my fiancee was still logged in :)
This book will be passed along shortly.

Tried getting into this, but gave up after about 40 pages. I'm just not that into books about war stories. But we wil be offering this book as one of our Nelson DeMille BookRings, as I am sure there are lots of other people out there who will enjoy it!
From the back cover:
""He is a good man, a brilliant corporate exectuive, an honest, handsome family man admired by men and desired by women. But a lifetime ago Ben Tyson was a lieutenant in Vietnam. There the men under his command committed a murderous atrocity--and together swore never to tell the world what they had done. Now the press, army justice, and the events he tried to forget have caught up with Ben Tyson. His family, his career, and his personal sense of honor hang in the balance. And only one woman can reveal the truth of his past--and set him free."

Received in the post yesterday, very nicely wrapped (thanks michelle1977). I am looking forward to getting my teeth into this one.
This was the first book I've read by this author. I enjoyed it very much and will look forward to putting him on my authors to look out for list.
I know this was written a few years back and I wonder if some of the laws talked about in the book have now been changed. It certainly brought out plenty of thought about the morality of war and soldier ethics.

Received in yesterday's mail (thanks molekilby!). Love nelson demille, and will start this tonight.
Received 'Word of Honor' in the mail today from BigBlueMarble - thanks! It arrived safely in Canada. Looking forward to reading this one. Really like your BookRing bookmark, michelle1977 & Henk1977 ~ great idea.
Finished 'Word of Honor' ~ took me a little longer than I thought it would. Didn't have an easy time getting into it, as war stories about Vietnam aren't ones that I would usually read, but since this was a BookRing and since I enjoyed 'Night Fall' so much, I wanted to persevere. Once I got into it, the reading was a little easier and I do find DeMille's style of writing keeps me turning the pages. Glad I read 'Night Fall' first though, as I don't think I would have been such a DeMille fan if this had been the first one of his books I'd read. However, I am definitely glad that I read this book and that I joined this BookRing, michelle1977. Thanks for making this book available.
Passing on now to davethetech.

Wow! I am amazed at just how much I enjoyed this book. The Vietnam War is not one that I usually enjoy reading about but this one really captured my imagination. I would thoroughly recommend it.
As michelle1977 has said that I should release this, I will consider where to do that sometime in the next few weeks.
