This was the book that has been on mountTBR the longest (but not anymore!).
Neat story although it reminded me a bit too much of Mr Bond: the impossible mission, the beautiful girl that tries to kill him. Wondrous to read the first Dirk Pitt story after reading later stories first. My husband will enjoy reading this book as well so I will pass it on to him.

Actually I found it to be a rather good story.
Dirk Pitt is not nearly as arrogant as in later books!
