just bought it last week

"Roald Dahl was born in 1916 in Wales of Norwegian parents. He became one of the most succesful and well known of al children's writers. When he died in November 1990, The Times called him 'one of the most widely read and influential writers of our generation' and wrote in its orbituary: 'It was well said of Dahl that he "knew how to steer and unwavering course along the hairline where grotesque and comic meet and mingle"... '

Children loved his stories and made him their favourite...

Some believe that they will be classics of the future."
