These books are certainly action packed little books! They're tough to put down but easy enough to read in a couple days (or in one day if you have time on your hands...)! Stephanie's Grandma is turning out to be a hilarious character and I really hope nothing happens between Stephanie and Morelli! He's going to screw her up in the end!

I'll be holding on to this for a little while until its time to send it out for the spiral!

July 21 - sent along today!

Journal Entry 6 by babsdotter from Sparta, Missouri USA on Wednesday, July 26, 2006

From the cover:
Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back, packing a whole lot of attitude-not to mention stun guns, defense sprays, and a .38 Smith & Wesson. This time around, she's on the trail of Kenny Mancuso, a boy from the working-class burg of Trenton, New Jersey, who has just shot his best friend. Fresh out of the Army and suspiciously wealthy, Mancusco's also distantly related to Joe Morelli, a vice cop with questionable ethics, a libido in permanent overdrive and a habit of horning in on Stephanie's investigations.
Aided by her tough bounty hunter pal, Ranger, and her funeral-happy Grandma Mazur, Stephanie's soon staggering knee-deep in corpses, trying to shake Morelli...and stirring up a very nasty enemy.

I really enjoy Stephanie and her crazy investigations. Grandma Mazur is a hoot! Looking forward to #3.

This book is going in the mail to Mandajo.

Journal Entry 11 by MandaJo from Plymouth, Minnesota USA on Friday, October 6, 2006
This book came in the mail a couple of days ago, and I'm already finished! These books just get more hillarious. Can't wait for the next one. Congratulations to Aberpeter on the new job and new home! I'll be keeping in touch so I can pass this one along as soon as possible.

Journal Entry 12 by MandaJo from Plymouth, Minnesota USA on Thursday, October 26, 2006
This is on its way to Washington today. Bon voyage, little book.

Journal Entry 13 by Aberpeter from Renton, Washington USA on Wednesday, November 1, 2006
Woo-hoo... I get to find out what Stephanie's been up to as the book arrived in the mail yesterday.

Journal Entry 14 by Aberpeter from Renton, Washington USA on Tuesday, November 28, 2006
I love Stephanie's grandma... she is a hoot. I don't know of anyone that frequents funeral homes for fun. I am also wondering just how long it will take Stephanie and Morelli to hook up. Just in the first two books Morelli is starting to soften up and isn't as much of a jerk as he was in the beginning of book one.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I didn't like this book as much as I liked the first one. I'm not sure why. It was funny, but the story didn't really grab me this time. I like Stephanie Plum and her crazy family, especially the hilarious Grandma Mazur, who was, without a doubt, the star in this book. A quick, entertaining read, quirky characters, I look forward to reading the rest of this Stephanie Plum series!

Thank you for sharing Breeze144! This book will ship out to TwiggySC1973 this afternoon.

Journal Entry 26 by Breeze144 from Ajax, Ontario Canada on Wednesday, October 31, 2007

I am taking this spiral over from Breeze144, it's gotten too much for her to do. So I am the new host. Does the last person who journaled still have this book? If so, please let me know. Just hold onto it until I try and get things straightened out/figured out. Are you still interested in any of the other books in this spiral? If so let me know that. I'm going to try and contact the rest of the people and if I don't hear back from them I will skip them from the spiral. Thanks for your help! Please e-mail me: [email protected]

Thanks for your help! :-)

Journal Entry 30 by lostbookisland on Thursday, August 7, 2008
This book has washed ashore at the Lost Book Island after not being heard from for many months. This new arrival will be shown to a room and be allowed a bit of rest before being introduced to the many fun things to do here at the island.

All around there are books sipping cool drinks under shady palms while other books participate in a wide variety of beach sports. There is plenty of sand, surf and sun here for all of the lost and wayward books to enjoy.

It is hoped that very soon a new journal entry will come to rescue this book from the island and send it back out into the BookCrossing world so that it may continue on its journey. It is hoped that the new journal entry will tell all the interested parties where this book has been this long time and where it will be traveling to next.

Are you sure you want to delete this item? It cannot be undone.
