A good read. I liked the women's perspective and the critical dialogue about Christianity. Alas, over the almost 900 pages, some topics and thoughts become repetitive. An important piece of literature of the 80s.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is extremely interesting how the story, told by men, changes when viewed through the eyes and experiences of a woman. It also shows how the true power lies behind the scenes in the silent manipulation of the strong women. Giving truth to the saying "Behind every great man lies a even greater woman."
