I love the Rheostatics- seen them 3 times- from seeing them in 1995 at the Townehouse in Sudbury when they were going to stop after a set and the bar-full of adoring fans were sitting in awe on the dance floor(i had organized a mass dance movement" when the revolution begins-start dancing"- they said they had never played a place where the whole place was sitting on the dance floor...they played late into the night when we all got up)to a live CBC broadcast from a park across from the KingsHead pub in Winnipeg where a fan on an upper-apartment balconey across from the park held a sign requesting a sone and Martin pulled binoculars out of his backpack to meet the request...to another Winnipeg gig in the dead of winter when they were promoting their kidsbook/CD

Just got it. Funny thing is that I was a Rheostatics fan back in the day, saw them in 1993, and just last summer felt the urge to buy up some of their music that had wandered out of my music collection.
