I bought this book originally for 2 reasons - first I enjoyed 2 of the author's SF novels, and secondly I'm still a CLI kind of guy so wanted to hear what somebody had to say about it.
I think I'll pass this on to 'lightspeed' as I'm sure he'll enjoy the Windows/Mac/Linux diatribe.

I'll be leaving this either on or under my seat in the seminar room this morning as I am attending one of their free seminars on OSX. I thought it an appropriate book to release there since it discusses the role of operating systems... or I migth leave it on the coffee table outside of the seminar room - might be more likely to be picked up there?
