This book was bought brand-new at the Barnes and Noble in Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, Texas. It will start its journey in McKinney.

I came to this site a long, long time ago, and was captivated by its principle. However, I am apparently acquisitive and selfish when it comes to books. If I really liked a book and thought it worth passing on, I wanted to keep it! :) Consequently, I never released my own books into the wild.

I was then very happy when I read this book's note regarding its registration at this site. I didn't see this until I returned home from where I purchased it at Half-Price Books at Campbell & 75 in Richardson, Texas. I'm surprised to see that nobody has responded here since it was first released in McKinney in 2002! How sad that someone didn't further the "adventure" before now. ;) I am going to Minnesota in a couple of weeks, so I may leave it there at a Starbuck's or at a hotel. However, I *will* leave it somewhere. :)

Anyway, I like Alice McDermott very much as an author, and I already like this book (which I just started today).
