This is one of my favourite books ever! Maeve Binchy tells such a good story! I was given it and first read it when I was 18, and took it when I volunteered in Sri Lanka for 3 months in my year off. I don't know how many times I read it, but it was always worth re-reading!
The story works because its a story of friendship between Benny and Eve, as well as a love story (or two!). Set in 1950s Dublin, you wish you were there at University College. Has all the excitement about growing up, leaving home, spreading wings and starting University. Maybe that's why I loved it so much, and still love it!

I found a spare copy today of this book & I will release this next week as part of the Worldwide IKEA challenge - I'll be @ the Zurich Dietikon store!

RELEASE NOTES: This book was taking part in the Worldwide IKEA Release Challenge & was released somewhere in IKEA Dietlikon and it's now comfortable on the sofa!
