TV producer Rebecca Cole has seen better days. Like the day her cartoon creation, Esme, made her a hit and scored her a promotion. That was a good day. But now that her roommate has decided to heed her therapist and appreciate the simpler things in life -- outside of New York City -- and a corporate takeover at her network has left Rebecca jobless, this food snob has to find a way to afford her rent and her penchant for fine dining. Oh, and she really should start saying no to the break-up sex with her ex.

Surely Rebecca will be able to draw herself out of this mess, and maybe even find a way to eat well in the process?

I have already read the first chapter and it looks like a great read!

It was a great chick lit read! I liked that it was a bit off formula, instead of the big magazine job she had a exec job in children's tv. I thought Esme was wonderful too!
The ending got a bit crowded and the relationships got strange. Why was it so important that her ex and new bf meet and become friends... gross! What happened with Beth, they were all of a sudden good friends in the end again. Jordan dumps her so everything becomes ok?

I loved that she was a perfect size 10-12 instead of 4-6...!

Will pass on again in relay.

Loks like a good chick-lit

Quick & cute read. I agree with cougmax, why did the ex bf & new bf have to meet. I loved Esme and liked the idea that Rebecca was creating kids' shows for the kids that would feel like they were wierd - like Esme with her glasses and the cooking show with the girl in braces. Now if only kids' TV (and all TV for that matter) would actually do that and not try to make everything so mainstream.

This book had ended up at the book swap of Turku main library, where I found it yesterday. And I think its next stop is going to be the BC-convention in Athens :)

Anniversary convention release!

I took this book on the last day of the International Bookcrossing convention. I might read it or I might release it. I am not sure yet :-)

I left this book at a bookshelf in a nice Hotel called The Coach House.
