I found this good-condition paperback in the swap shop of Nashua's Four Hills landfill/recycle center. The rather striking cover art caught my eye, but the book looks to be too - well, I'm wanting to say "epic" but that's not quite it; it seems to involve some serious techno-babble that does not appeal to me (though I did spot some geek-type humor: one character advises another to try to be "at 1.000000001 with the universe" {grin}). I expect I'll release this one unread.

I plan to leave Vigilant in the book-swap shelf in the Derry Public Library some time after 4. Will check to see if any of the other still-in-the-wild BC books are still there...
*** Left as planned. I did spot a few other BC books there, including Front Runner, House on the Strand, and Year of the Quiet Sun; can't swear there weren't more. There were lots of unregistered books there too...
