Journal Entry 1 by Geegal on Wednesday, April 06, 2005
James Finn Garner's "Politically Correct Bedtime Stories" are way more entertaining than I expected. The stories are read with much humour by Jean Reed-Bahle and Dale Hull. Although I sometimes wished while listening that I could instead read the stories myself. Just like those Lemony Snicket books the stories have their own sacrastic tone that is probably best if imagined by oneself. Nevertheless almost all of the stories are hillarious. (though I don't know Three Goats and Chicken Little). My favorite retelling is Snow White with Garner's very special take on the Seven Dwarfs :)
