Journal Entry 1 by Packrat from St. Louis, Missouri USA on Wednesday, September 18, 2002
A well-written, extensively documented analysis of how the success of the fast-food restaurants has brought about the deterioration of not just food quality but quality of life and work for Americans in many different industries affected by the growth of the fast-food chains. (A good idea is to read this book along with Barbara Ehrenreich's "Nickeled and Dimed: on (not) Getting By in America.")
