Picked this up on audiobook at the library, so I'm marking it available.

I recently finished listening to this book on audio. I enjoyed it a lot. Patty Jane, Harriet, Ione, Nora and the other characters were all so likable. I was really rooting for them to find a way to surmount their troubles. I wasn't a big fan of the reveal of what happened to Thor, as it seemed to be just too unbelievable, but that's a small matter.

I've always liked Lorna Landvik's books because they so reflect my own Midwestern Scandinavian upbringing. This one is another winner.

I finished this a few days ago and really enjoyed it. It's a nice light read, even though quite a few tragic things happen throughout the book. The main characters are very likable, and I guess it all feels kind of cosy.
