Struggled through the first half of this. I don't think I'm witty enough to appreciate the humour.

Am not willing to brave it again (because I want to avoid being reminded of my utter lack of excellent British humour). Being sent to Molyneux because this book is the official book of Oxford during Book Week? I assume she can explain further...

Thank you for sending this book hunnyb! During the Oxford Literary Fesival this book was launched as the book for Oxford in Penguin's '7 books for 7 cities challenge' (Oxford was chosen as one of the 7 citis & the book for us is of course Brideshead - since it is all about Oxford!) This means trying to get everyone in Oxford to read this book! Libraries have bought in lots of copies and have displays...book groups are reading it....there are workshops about it...talks....and I thought it would be fun for BookCrossing to do it's part too! So I am going to try to get as many copies as possible to release in Oxford during APril and May.

I will release this next week when I am next in the City.
