arrived safe and sound today. Thank you for sending it my way. I will comment on it again once read and then I will find a new reader for it.

Book Description

Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum debuted in Janet Evanovich's award-winning One for the Money. Here, she's back, packing a whole lot of attitude -- not to mention stun guns, defense sprays, and a .38 Smith & Wesson. This time around, she's on the trail of Kenny Mancuso, a boy from the working-class burg of Trenton, New Jersey, who has just shot his best friend. Fresh out of the Army and suspiciously wealthy, Mancuso's also distantly related to Joe Morelli, a vice cop with questionable ethics, a libido in permanent overdrive, and a habit of horning in on Stephanie's investigations.

Aided by her tough bounty hunter pal, Ranger, and her funeral-happy Grandma Mazur, Stephanie's soon staggering knee-deep in corpses, trying to shake Morelli?and stirring up a very nasty enemy.

*** Dec 31 ~ This one had me laughing out loud while I was on the plane. Grandma Mazur has a way of always making me giggle -- she is by far my favorote character -- kind of reminds me of my two grandmas mixed together.

Finished reading this yesterday and had a blast! This book was really funny and had me giggling every day on my commute to and from work. :-) I agree, Granny Mazur is a hoot, awesome! I also like this "relationship" Staphanie and Morelli have going on. Gee, I love Morelli, he has this italian bad boy thingy going on... LOL

I'm very much looking forward to read the next book in the series, thanks so much for sharing!

I already got mellowdaysies address and the book is packed up. Since I'm going to London next week anyways I'll try to ship it from there to save a bit on postage...

I really loved this book. The beginning threw me off a bit because you were thrust into the middle of the action straight away, whereas in the previous book you had a little time to get to know Stephanie and what she was doing. I suppose that's because we know who she is and what she does now but I thought it would've been better with more of a lead up to who Kenny was and why she had to find him. I still thought it was hilarious though and Grandma Mazur played more of a part in this book. I'm still hooked on the series - I have 'Three' on its way to be and 'Four' and 'Five' sitting on the shelf waiting to be read!

I have PMed FiBe for an address and will get this in the post as soon as I can.

It arrived safelly today. When I returned from university today I saw a package with the famous walking book. I am so happy that it arrived. Well I have to finish the book that I read, I have 50 pages to go and I'll start it right away.

02/11/06
--------
People sorry for the deleay, I enjoyed the book that I forgot to journal it and with my work and the university I forgot to contact the next person. Promise finishing the journal I'll do it. Stephanie Plum is an appealing heroine. She acts tough, but in reality she's all too human. The plot is complicated enough to keep the reader engaged, and the action never lets up. There were several parts I thought I had figured out only to learn later I was wrong. And Grandma Mazur is a riot as she gets more involved in the story.
This novel is a fantastic sequel, and will keep you curious for what happens in the following book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, even more than the first one, which is saying something! I adore Grandma Mazur, think that Morelli is sex on legs (well, my vision of him is, anyway!) but thought that there wasn't enough of Ranger in this one, though the scene where he's collapsed with laughter had me giggling for hours. Thankfully, I have a few of the next ones ready and waiting - this is such a great series.

I've requested Magika's address and as soon as I have it the book will be on its way. Thanks so much for sharing, snowy 652.

This book is FUN. She is getting better. The first book is only to whet our appetite. I laughed out loud - especially at chapter 13. But the end was classic. Not to spoil the fun I will just quote a part from that chapter:
At the end of those ten seconds, the entire third-floor gridwork crashed onto the second-floor fire escape. There was a momentary pause. Long enough for me to whisper, oh shit.

Here we get to see more of Grandma Mazur's character. She is as much feisty as her granddaughter. It is also amusing to see that Stephanie's mother finally accepts Morelli as someone good for her. That is so cute.

And maybe I should be changing to a Buick - at the way I'm driving (and parking) but then I have never seen one here in Malaysia.

I may have a go for the next books but classes are starting and I have other books I want to read first. So until then, sayonara Stephanie and Morelli. I have packed the book together with One for the Money to the next member in line.

I really enjoyed this book. I agree with many of the comments above, Grandma Mazur is one of my favourite characters ever! She reminds me of my grandmother, she was feisty and slightly crazy too lol. I really like the Stephanie-Morelli relationship, they have a great dynamic without sinking into "love-interest subplot" in the traditional sense.

Messaged framergirl to send on.
