THis is the second part of Frank McCourt's memoirs - part 1 was "Angela's Ashes."

This books starts where the first book ended, ie Frank's journey to America and it covers his life there, from hotel work, to the army to college and school teaching. His brothers and eventually his Mother all live in the USA. A great read, and it leaves you wanting to know more!
