From Audible.com:

It is now thirty-eight months into the Tribulation. Giant horsemen ride the earth, scorching thousands with their fiery wrath. The believers in Christ, finding sanctuary in safe houses, continue to receive spiritual strength from their leader. But one of the faithful, desperate to hasten events, is secretly planning to assassinate the Antichrist, Nicolae Carpathia.

Educator and lecturer Tim LaHaye has made a lifelong study of prophecy. Jerry B. Jenkins has written four best-selling books. Their collaboration fills the Left Behind series with unforgettable apocalyptic visions and dramatic conflicts. Enhanced by Richard Ferrone's muscular narration, Assassins pulls the listener into the midst of great clashes between good and evil.

The Left Behind series is the fastest-selling Christian series ever. Each volume immediately hits best-seller lists and has thrilled millions of readers worldwide. As the sixth volume, Assassins follows the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy, terrifying portents of judgement appear.

5 out of 10

Many of the characters acquired a bad case of the grumpies. But I guess that happens when you've been left behind.

While I was in Japan, I kept receiving emails from y'all asking if the books had been received, where were they, were they safe?

No difinitive answer came from homeside, so I was at a loss.

Well, While visiting the house this weekend, I was looking for a parcel my mother said had arrived for me, and instead came across a parcel full of audio books! Lo and behold, here are books 2-6 (and another one that claims to be #6, which is which?) Opened, but forgotten. I'm so sorry!

My father is aware of them now, and they are in a safe and prominant place so he can read them and prepare to send them on to the incredibly patient LaurieS.

Please please forgive the unusual and long-drawn-out situation that gave rise to this stall. The books have been recovered, are safe and will begin moving again!

Releasing this book to the bookcemetary. When I went to try to listen to these books, I found that the discs had been corrupted somehow (most likely during transit) and are no longer playable/listenable. Kitten22 has recommended they be laid to rest. Such a sad end to an ambitious project.
