Childhood sweethearts, they could finish each other's sentences and even when they fought, they laughed. No one could imagine Holly and Gerry without each other.

Until the unthinkable happens. Gerry's death devastates Holly. But as her 30th birthday looms, Gerry comes back to her. He's left her a bundle of notes, gently guiding Holly into her new life without him, each noted signed 'PS, I Love You.'

As the notes are gradually opened and as the year unfolds, Holly is both cheered up and challenged. The man who knows her better than anyone sets out to teach her that life goes on. WIth some help from her friends, and her noisy and loving family, Holly finds herself laughing, crying, singing, dancing - and being braver than ever before.

Life is for living, she realises - but it always helps if there's an angel watching over you.

An easy read thats enjoyable in its simplicity, it is a little predictable in places but is full of fun memorable characters.

This is a nice read, quite funny too. I can relate to Holly since I've lost someone dear to me before and the devastation, the emotions, the guilt, all that Holly went through is just the same. It makes me wonder if the author had been through the same loss. For Holly, she was extremely blessed with such a thoughtful husband.

A little disappointed with the ending, but I suppose it is a more realistic ending. Holly has a good life as it is.

Wow! This book is TRULY traveling around the world! I'd quite forgotten this was coming, so it was quite a delightful surprise when it arrived in my mailbox on Thursday. Just in time too! We had a big sleet/snow storm & were iced in on Friday - and lost power Thursday night, and didn't regain it until this morning! So I began it immediately, and will journal when I've finished. Thanks for the RABCK! :)
